My calling is to stay in this place and garden, tend flocks, and cut wood. I would never presume to believe that my calling is necessary for anyone to be a Christian."

A thoroughly wonderful sentiment, dear R. Since you don't make this way of life into "Law" for anyone else, it actually invites people to consider more seriously a simpler, healtheir lifestyle. A wonderful testimony to your understanding of the unfettered Gospel and your gracious character.

Ever grateful for you,

EthanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8985010373250930438.post-29160521054975272882008-12-05T20:01:00.000-05:002008-12-05T20:01:00.000-05:00Thank you all for your kind words and commentsThank you all for your kind words and commentsThe Midland Agrarianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17214111067042466363noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8985010373250930438.post-37155935738283349122008-12-03T16:09:00.000-05:002008-12-03T16:09:00.000-05:00I appreciate your clarifications. I am also agrarian, though not a deep practitioner. Meaning, I don't have a huge garden (do have one). But I love and appreciate creation and my place in it. I believe I have a responsibility to use it and use it wisely. It's good to know that my husband and I are Bible-believing agrarians who have a homestead.

Like TennZen, I am thankful for you and Granny and the wisdom and knowledge you are so willing to share.

Thanks, too, for stopping by my blog.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8985010373250930438.post-16668958626682923512008-12-03T10:04:00.000-05:002008-12-03T10:04:00.000-05:00thank you for all the information in this post. i ...thank you for all the information in this post. i am thinking about subscribing to that magazine.Kathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05884479656697725809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8985010373250930438.post-72165248034477502532008-12-03T08:17:00.000-05:002008-12-03T08:17:00.000-05:00I like your definition of agrarian. There are many who'd like to get to the level that you and Granny are at now, and still others who just want to keep things centered around the home more.

Either way, I applaud anyone's effort and continue to appreciate people like you and Granny who are so willing to share with and guide the rest of us.

Thank you so much!TennZenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16818485347898628125noreply@blogger.com
